You can enable a serial communications option in the Properties pane if you want to use the Send or Receive parts with the microcontroller.
Checking this option tells the microcontroller to reserve one pin for transmitting information and one pin for receiving information. The labels on two pins will be changed automatically to "send" and "receive". By default these pins are:
